Kiriko Original Tsuno Tote, Sashi-Ori, Black and Earth Tone Multi-Color Pendleton Fabric

Introducing our Tsuno Bukuro Bags. Simple totes finished with hand-sewn leather handles and straps. Casual and stylish, each tote has a unique character brought by the combinations of traditional fabrics from Japan. 

This modern-style Tsuno bag is simple and perfect for everyday use, whether it's carrying your essentials, or grocery shopping. Each has a comfortable leather handle and leather strap to close, and an inner pocket to keep important things out of the way.

Tsuno Bukuro means "horn bag". The name comes from the shape, which looks like two horns. Traditionally, these bags are simply constructed from a single rectangle length of fabric, creating them without extra cuts or folds. Tsunobukuro were usually used by farmers to transport grain.

Each Tsuno bag is sewn in Portland and finished here in our studio.
